Verve Productions questions

Verve Productions is a British documentary production company which was set up by Liz Tucker. For my research of the production company I decided to email Verve Productions and send them questions on the production company so that I could gain further knowledge on the history of the company and any intentions that they may have for the company.

These are the questions that I presented in the email to the Verve Productions Company

1.       What were the Initial plans and thoughts when setting up the company

2.       In initial setting up of company was Liz Tucker on her own or did she have people giving her ideas and suggestions

3.       Did she get support from other production companies, if so which one and why

4.       What were the subject matters she wanted to focus on and why

5.       Was there a particular direction for the production company

6.       Have the goals been accomplished for the production company

7.       Where do you think the production company would be in 5years time

8.       How have you dealt with the advancement of technology within your documentary videos

9.       What were the issues that affected your company and how did you deal with them

10.   Where is the company based and are there other headquarters around the country

11.   Is the company well known and is there support from viewers

12.    Who is the target audience for the documentaries that are broadcasted through the company and does the target audience differ for each documentary shown

13.   Why are the documentaries shown on channels such as BBC one, BBC four and Channel four

14.   What are the benefits of the production company working with US broadcasters
